Urgent Care Now Available at Padfoot Animal Hospital

Padfoot Animal Hospital is now offering urgent care services to help pets in need of same-day medical attention.

Our fully ER-trained team is ready to assist with a wide range of urgent conditions, including:

• Urinary blockages (blocked cats)
• Lacerations and wounds
• Certain trauma cases
• Gastrointestinal foreign bodies
• Gastric Dilatation-Volvulus (GDV/”bloat”)

How It Works:

• Urgent care appointments are primarily available in the mornings and may be on a drop-off basis.
• We may occasionally offer afternoon or next-day appointments for less urgent concerns.
• Patients requiring overnight hospitalization or advanced medical care (such as blood transfusions or continuous oxygen support) will be stabilized and transferred to a referral centre or our local emergency hospital when it is fully operational.
