Padfoot Animal Hospital is now offering urgent care services to help pets in need of same-day medical attention.
Our fully ER-trained team is ready to assist with a wide range of urgent conditions, including:
- Urinary blockages (blocked cats)
- Lacerations and wounds
- Certain trauma cases
- Gastrointestinal foreign bodies
- Gastric Dilatation-Volvulus (GDV/”bloat”)
Urgent Care Hours:
Monday–Friday
8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
How It Works:
- Urgent care appointments are primarily available in the mornings and may be on a drop-off basis.
- We may occasionally offer afternoon or next-day appointments for less urgent concerns.
- Patients requiring overnight hospitalization or advanced medical care (such as blood transfusions or continuous oxygen support) will be stabilized and transferred to a referral centre or our local emergency hospital when it is fully operational.
